  • March 13, 2010 - Hidaya buys 173 metric tons (381,400 lbs) of rice during the week of March 8 to March 13 for projects such as One Million Meals , Kaffara, and Fidya.
  • March 4, 2010 - Hidaya Foundation completed its 2009 Financial Audit on February 23, 2010. Click here to see Hidaya's 2009 Financial Audit.
  • March 1, 2010 - Hidaya Foundation has shipped its 1st container (40 ft.) of the year 2010 for the poor in Pakistan.  During 2009 total of 16 containers (40 feet) were shipped.
  • Feb. 21, 2010 - Hidaya started distribution of tree seedlings to students and communities for its 2010 One Million Trees campaign. Over 35,000 seedlings will be planted this spring.
  • Jan. 11, 2010 - Hidaya started its new session of Software Engineering Skills & Development Training on Jan. 4, 2010.  Over 60 Software Engineering Internees will be given training in PHP, ASP.Net and development skills. During 2009 Hidaya trained over 50 software engineers and most of them successfully found employment.

Container Shipment Project


Sitara-e-Isaar Awarded to Hidaya Foundation

The sister organization of Hidaya Trust, Hidaya Foundation was awarded Sitara-i-Eisaar (Star of Sacrifice) by the Government of Pakistan, in recognition of the results-oriented relief efforts of both the organizations during the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan. It was awarded during a special ceremony held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, DC.
