Hidaya Trust Jamshoro/Hyderabad District Operations (www.hidayatrust.org) is pleased to announce internship opportunities for Software, Computer Science, Information Technology and MIS graduates.  The semester will be starting on Tuesday February 01, 2011.  Training may last four to six months.

The objective of this program is to benefit the underprivileged candidates and prepare them for competitive job market while strengthening their technical and career development skills.  Preference will be given to applicants who have graduated with an undergraduate degree in an IT related discipline within last 12 months.  Applicants should have knowledge in the fields of software development and data bases.  Interns will learn theory and will work on development projects using Microsoft and Open Source technologies.  In Microsoft, graduates will learn Dot.Net module including core C#.Net, ASP.Net, MySQL Server 2005, AJAX and LINQ. In Open Source technology, interns will learn core PHP, Advance PHP including packages and modules integration, MySQL, Linux, CMS (Joomla), CSS, Java Script, HTML and AJAX etc.

Deserving interns will be offered remuneration to partially compensate for their living expenses.

Sitara-e-Isaar Awarded to Hidaya Foundation

The sister organization of Hidaya Trust, Hidaya Foundation was awarded Sitara-i-Eisaar (Star of Sacrifice) by the Government of Pakistan, in recognition of the results-oriented relief efforts of both the organizations during the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan. It was awarded during a special ceremony held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, DC.
