Work under the guidance of project manager. Will get the tasks from the project manager and will report to him. Capable of completing all the project tasks both field and office work. Capable of working under structured environment. Capabilities of meeting deadlines and completing the tasks on timely fashion. 

Qualification: Candidate must have minimum 2 years of experience with Diploma of Associate Engineer (Civil Technology) from Sindh Technical Board Karachi or Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Technology) from HEC recognized University. 

Responsibilities: This position involves diversified professional engineering work in the field and office associated with the planning, survey, read, understand and analyzes survey reports, design- maps, drawings, blueprints, photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects, construction, inspection, transportation planning, and maintenance of construction work; direct, coordinate and oversee the work of other technicians or part-time employees involved in construction activities carried out by the organization; maintaining official engineering records. 

Knowledge, Skills and abilities required:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Skill in the use of computers, preferably in a PC Windows-based operating environment and good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Good motorbike riding skills.
 

Sitara-e-Isaar Awarded to Hidaya Foundation

The sister organization of Hidaya Trust, Hidaya Foundation was awarded Sitara-i-Eisaar (Star of Sacrifice) by the Government of Pakistan, in recognition of the results-oriented relief efforts of both the organizations during the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan. It was awarded during a special ceremony held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, DC.
