The Information Technology (IT) Manager’s role is to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT Department in alignment with the objectives of the organization. This individual will plan, coordinate, direct, and design IT-related activities of the organization, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the organization. The IT Manager will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. This person will also define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.Candidate must have minimum 4 years of experience in IT field with Bachelors Degree or minimum 2 years of experience with Master Degree from HEC recognized University. IT manager reports to Sr. IT manager and dotted line to operations manager.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the overall network of hidaya offices.
  • Fixing all the computers lying at Hidaya warehouse.
  • Training to all the Hidaya team.
  • Conducting computer classes of different levels in the district.
  • Offering different courses like summer camp etc time by time.
  • Training to the student about computer basics in different schools.
  • Publish IT brochures and distribute in students.

 

Skills and Abilities :
  • Excellent computer troubleshooting skills.
  • Good teaching skills in IT field.
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and great attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Flexibility in working with and adapting to changing demands of a growing organization
  • Comfortable in working closely and in collaboration with others
  • Takes pleasure in enabling and supporting the team and others to be effective in their work
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to and appreciation for diverse viewpoints, different communication styles and a wide range of diverse colleagues
  • Team player with ability to resolve difficult situations without impacting the objectives of image of Hidaya Trust and Hidaya Foundation.
 

Sitara-e-Isaar Awarded to Hidaya Foundation

The sister organization of Hidaya Trust, Hidaya Foundation was awarded Sitara-i-Eisaar (Star of Sacrifice) by the Government of Pakistan, in recognition of the results-oriented relief efforts of both the organizations during the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan. It was awarded during a special ceremony held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, DC.
