Execute a project as assigned by the Program Manager and local Hidaya Trust management team.  Responsible for managing project under various programs including Social welfare & Disaster Relief, Health care, Educational & Vocational.  Knowledge of project management skills, Knowledge of writing project proposals & project reports.  Capable of working under structured environment.  Capabilities of meeting deadlines and completing the tasks on timely fashion.Candidate must have minimum 5 years of experience in project management with Bachelor Degree or 2 years experience with Master Degree from HEC recognized University. Project manager reports to Senior Project Manager and dotted line to Program manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, track and execute the project assigned according to the systems and processes established by Hidaya Trust.
  • Work with the Sr. Project Manager and Program Manager/local Hidaya Management team to develop relevant project proposals and budgets.
  • Supervise and collaborate the work of field officers staff in a matrix management environment with other project/program managers and supporting staff.
  • Develop detailed task lists and work effort assessment, short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members and document these details using tools provided by Hidaya Trust.
  • Perform any other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
  • Work in any emergency and special project.
Knowledge, Skills and abilities required:
  • Good English (verbal and oral) skills.
  • Good skills in using computer especially in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  •  Excellent typing skills, minimum 30 words per minute.
  • Good presentation skills to report to the higher management.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Knowledge of management principles and practices.
  • Ability to provide technical coordination and management of development and/or implementation projects in area of expertise.
  • Project planning and implementation skills.
  • Ability to gather data, compiles information, and prepares reports.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Ability to develop and maintain record keeping systems and procedures.
 

Sitara-e-Isaar Awarded to Hidaya Foundation

The sister organization of Hidaya Trust, Hidaya Foundation was awarded Sitara-i-Eisaar (Star of Sacrifice) by the Government of Pakistan, in recognition of the results-oriented relief efforts of both the organizations during the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan. It was awarded during a special ceremony held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, DC.
