Hidaya Foundation collects in-kind (new and gently used) items to help the poor and needy in South Asian countries, as well as in other parts of the world, when need arises. We collect computers, books, journals, medical supplies, medical equipment, school and office furniture, toys, household items (dishes, pots and pans), clothes, jackets, shoes, etc.

Since late 2000, Hidaya Foundation has sent over eighty 40-feet containers to Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Hidaya collected and shipped over forty 40-feet containers to the affected areas of South Asia Tsunami (2004) and Pakistan earthquake (2005) disasters. Hidaya Foundation offers access to its container shipment program to all US based non-profit organizations during international disasters.
