Sponsor a Student

  • 27 students are currently receiving full support for their education along with stipends every month.
  • School tuition and exam fees will continue to be paid by Hidaya directly to the school.
  • In-kind items such as uniforms, shoes, books and stationary will be purchased and given to students time to time during the year.
  • Examination fees were paid for 129 students in 11th & 12th grade levels.

Future Plans:
  • Improve the current monitoring system to minimize school dropout of students.
  • Create a plan to protect children from child labor practices.
  • Attend to basic medical problems of students.
  • Focus on and take back to schools the children who have dropped out or have never attended school.
  • Research options for higher education in universities for poor students

  • Seek opportunities for students receive internships in different organizations
 

Sitara-e-Isaar Awarded to Hidaya Foundation

The sister organization of Hidaya Trust, Hidaya Foundation was awarded Sitara-i-Eisaar (Star of Sacrifice) by the Government of Pakistan, in recognition of the results-oriented relief efforts of both the organizations during the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan. It was awarded during a special ceremony held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, DC.
