Headquartered in the Silicon Valley, Hidaya offers a unique Information & Communication Technology Program where graduates with limited financial resources are offered hands on training opportunity to enhance their skills in the areas of Basic Computer Skills, Software Development Training, System Administration Training, and Network Administration Training. These trainings allow them to compete for high paying positions in today's world-wide competitive IT job market. These hands-on classes are offered by Hidaya Institute of Science & Technology (HIST) www.histpk.org, a division of Hidaya Trust (www.hidayatrust.org) in Pakistan. Hidaya Trust is a sister organization based in Pakistan.
Students from rural area, and those who are facing financial difficulties, are supported by stipend for their day-to-day living expenses and two or four months internship program is offered to them on no-tuition basis. Hundreds of students sign up each semester for these highly sought internships.

The sister organization of Hidaya Trust, Hidaya Foundation was awarded Sitara-i-Eisaar (Star of Sacrifice) by the Government of Pakistan, in recognition of the results-oriented relief efforts of both the organizations during the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan. It was awarded during a special ceremony held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, DC.
