Educational books to establish libraries at economically depressed areas


Hidaya Foundation collects educational books from libraries, schools as well as individuals and ships them overseas to establish libraries in rural locations. Books are also used to upgrade existing supplies at educational institutions in economically depressed areas in Pakistan. To-date, Hidaya Foundation has collected and shipped well over 30,000 books.

Sitara-e-Isaar Awarded to Hidaya Foundation

The sister organization of Hidaya Trust, Hidaya Foundation was awarded Sitara-i-Eisaar (Star of Sacrifice) by the Government of Pakistan, in recognition of the results-oriented relief efforts of both the organizations during the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan. It was awarded during a special ceremony held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, DC.
