How does Hidaya Foundation distribute Zakat?

Hidaya Foundation collects and distributes your Zakat per strict Shariah guidelines (according to Chapter 9: Verse 60 in the Quran), and as instructed by donors. Zakat funds are distributed directly by Hidaya or transferred to sister and reliable partner organizations in South Asia and West Africa to support orphans, widows, poor elderly, and families in extreme poverty and for marriage support for poor girls. Zakat funds are also used to support Zakat-deserving students for their educational needs and less fortunate ones for their healthcare needs.
