How you can help
Short Term:
- Make dua to Allah (swt) for rains to stop so floods can decrease.
- Donate cash on line (check or credit card) or by regular mail (check or credit card).
- You may donate Zakat, Sadaqah, and other donations for the flood relief effort.
- Ask your employer for possible gift matching donation and inform us at mail@hidaya.org about it.
- Donate in-kind items such as blankets, clothes, jackets, shoes etc. for Hidaya’s container shipment project.
- Arrange fundraisers to help spread awareness and collect funds for the relief effort. Ask Hidaya team for help and to learn how you can do.
- Forward Hidaya Foundation’s e-mails to your family, friends and other e-mail lists to which you belong.
- Distribute Hidaya’s printed material at your Masjid and Iftar gatherings.
Long Term:
- Tell us your expertise and how much time you will be willing to give for the rebuilding effort.
- Project planning such as Construction of homes, schools, roads, infrastructure etc.
- Leads for international purchasing from China , Brazil etc. for meeting the needs of Educational Supplies, Food Supplies etc.
