From Unemployment to Self Employment

 

Sewing Machines distribution

 

Hidaya donates sewing machines to females coming from weak economic background during the year after completion of six months training at Hidaya's training center.  This training was provided under Hidaya's Vocational training project.  These machines will be used by the recipients for generating extra income for the family as all of them are fully trained.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Goat Farming

Small Businesses 

 

Hidaya helps eleven struggling families with building and establishing their own businesses during the year. These businesses include shops, street vending carts, livestock businesses., auto rickshaws...etc. To learn more about these individuals and their businesses, click here.

Sitara-e-Isaar Awarded to Hidaya Foundation

The sister organization of Hidaya Trust, Hidaya Foundation was awarded Sitara-i-Eisaar (Star of Sacrifice) by the Government of Pakistan, in recognition of the results-oriented relief efforts of both the organizations during the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan. It was awarded during a special ceremony held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, DC.
